Biography
What the hell was he up to?
That’s what many had been wondering of Kenneth Griffin, an uber talented Irish musician who had burnt brightly with Rollerskate Skinny leaving a classic album Horsedrawn Wishes in their wake. Well, Griffin had a new US based outfit Favourite Sons (after another one Kid Sliver had disbanded) who had managed to release a debut album to not much notice in Ireland. Low Rent Recordings got a copy of The Great Deal Of Love, an album Ken and his cohorts had been working on with Mike Deming (he also produced The Pernice Brothers Overcome By Happiness, Independent Records fans) and with help of Gilded ALM, The Great Deal Of Love got a CD, vinyl and download release in Ireland in 2011. The band began touring in Ireland, more of which will follow in 2012.
